Forget Swatches, This Makeup Artist Recreates Entire Palettes On Her Hand

Beauty addicts— if sparkly, colorful makeup swatches are your eye candy, wait until you see Toronto-based makeup artist Menal Khan’s next-level creations. 

Instead of merely brushing eyeshadow pigments across her skin, Khan recreates the entire makeup palette itself, forming shimmering images on the back of her hands. 

Using her arm as a canvas, Khan also brushes mesmerizing eyeshadow looks onto her skin, fluffy eyelashes and all—and this is all in addition to the traditional makeup looks she shares on her Instagram account.

One day I'll record a live-action version of me making a mini palette. Ive tried in the past but since the drawing is so tiny, & the fact that I'm blind as a bat, I have to sit with my hand practically touching my eyeballs whilst making it. So if I was to record anything all you guys would see is the back of my head. 😂 - Steps: •First I sketch a rough outline using a light brown brow pencil or a black liner pencil, then fill the palette in using gel liner & black eyeshadow. •I then go and add the palette/pan shading using any deep brown eyeshadow. •Lastly I add in the reflections in the mirror, and each pan colour using the actual shades from the palette I am making, in this case: the Too Faced #GlitterBomb eyeshadow palette. ((Shades in the palette are actual swatches)). •When it comes to font, since the drawing is actually so minuscule, if I try writing something even smaller, it becomes practically unreadable.
