The company, No Fixed Abode (NFA), has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Versace for replicating its lion doorknocker logo with a ring in its mouth, which Versace has used across its clothing line. Emma Mann, founder of the company, has been using the logo on her “luxury streetwear” products since 2013, and she noticed a striking resemblance between her branding and Versace’s. The partnership involves releasing a special edition Umaibo snack called ‘Umaibo Nicolastick’ in reference to actor Nicolas Cage’s role in the movie. An announcement was also made through the movie’s Japanese Twitter account. Umaibo has long been a favorite of kids and junk food-loving adults in Japan, thanks to its low price and many flavor options.
