Residents of Okeafa, Ajao estate, Lagos state, took justice into their hands after they caught an alleged female kidnapper of Togolese nationality. According to a Facebook User, Ogechi Vincent Udeh, who witnessed the incident, the female kidnapper hypnotized a teenage girl and was taking her away when the girl’s uncle ran into them and realized his niece was obviously under some kind of spell. The uncle then raised alarm and the woman was rounded up, beaten, stripped and paraded on the street. Some days ago, several market women were kidnapped by Niger Delta militants in Akwa Ibom State and taken to their hideouts in the creeks. According to Niger Delta Vigilante, NDV, the women who come from different communities in the state and neighbouring Cross River State, were on their way back from Nwaniba community market in Uruan local government when more than 10 masked men ambushed the two speedboats conveying them. Narrating the heart-breaking event, a victim, Mrs. Christiana Sunday John, who spoke through an interpreter, said: “We were badly treated, our womanhood was abused. I joined the second speed boat going back home when midway into our journey; another speed boat from nowhere blocked us. “To my greatest surprise, the boat was conveying over 10 hefty masked men, two of the armed masked men jumped into our boat and ordered the boat operator to take to one of their camps in the creeks.
